Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-21. This is a working draft. We will have these terms reviewed by counsel before commercial launch.

1. About TuringDock

TuringDock is software for Canadian manufacturers: a free core MRP plus an optional premium tier that adds AI-powered operations and international supplier payments. TuringDock is operated by the founder out of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

2. Free Tier and Premium Tier

The free tier (Inventory, Bill of Materials, Suppliers, Purchase Orders, Production Orders, Production Scheduling, CSV exports, basic Slack alerts) is free to use indefinitely. No credit card is required to use the free tier. We may publish guardrails around extreme abuse (e.g., automated bulk-creation that degrades service for other customers).

The premium tier adds AI features (Slack assistant, proactive alerts, demand forecasting, supplier risk scoring), the MCP server, international supplier payments, and trade finance. Premium pricing is per company and is disclosed before any charge.

3. Payment Processing

International supplier payments initiated through TuringDock are routed through our payments partner, Avvio (avvio.xyz), which holds the regulatory licenses, banking relationships, and customer funds throughout the transfer. TuringDock orchestrates the workflow inside your manufacturing operations and never custodies your money. You acknowledge that you will be subject to Avvio's terms in addition to these terms for any payment initiated through the platform.

4. Your Data

Your inventory, BOMs, suppliers, purchase orders, production data, and any other information you put into TuringDock belong to you. You can export everything to CSV at any time using the built-in export. You can request deletion of all data associated with your account by emailing hello@turingdock.com; we will action the deletion within 30 days.

You grant TuringDock a limited license to process your data only to operate the service (run AI queries against it on your behalf, route payments through Avvio when you initiate one, surface alerts in Slack, etc.). We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train external models.

5. Cancellation

You can stop using TuringDock at any time by closing your account or simply not using it. There is no cancellation fee. Outstanding payments routed through Avvio at the time of cancellation settle on their normal schedule.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TuringDock is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free-tier users, that amount is zero.

You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated recommendation (forecast, supplier risk score, payment timing) before acting on it. The AI is a tool to surface information; the operating decision is yours.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of British Columbia.

8. Changes to These Terms

We will post any material changes to these terms here and email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
