Terms of Service

Last updated: March 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of Turing Dock, including the website at turingdock.com, the dashboard at app.turingdock.com, the API at api.turingdock.com, and any associated SDKs or tools (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using our API, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What Turing Dock Does

Turing Dock lets you create virtual payment cards for AI agents. You fund an account, create docks (each with its own card, budget, and spend rules), and connect agents via API. We handle card issuing, transaction authorization, and spend enforcement. We are not a bank. Funds are held and cards are issued through our licensed financial partners.

Your Account

  • You need to be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
  • The information you provide during signup must be accurate. If anything changes, update it.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, freeze your docks immediately and contact us.
  • One person or entity per account. Don't share accounts across organizations.

Docks, Cards, and Payments

  • Each dock has its own virtual card, budget, and spend rules. Transactions are deducted from the dock's budget, not directly from your funding source.
  • Spend rules (per-transaction limits, daily caps, category restrictions, approval thresholds) are enforced on every transaction. It is your responsibility to configure rules that are appropriate for the agent you connect.
  • You are responsible for all transactions made through your docks, including those initiated by AI agents you have connected. Connecting an agent to a dock constitutes authorization for that agent to transact within the dock's rules.
  • We may decline transactions that trigger fraud detection systems or violate card network rules, even if they fall within your spend rules.
  • Dock-to-dock transfers are instant and non-reversible once completed. Double-check recipient details before confirming.

Funding and Refunds

Account funding is processed through Stripe. Once funds are added to your account, they are available immediately for allocation to docks.

  • Unspent funds in your account can be withdrawn by contacting support. Processing takes 5–10 business days.
  • We do not charge fees on dock-to-dock transfers during the current pricing period. This may change with advance notice.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes on your funding method may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved.

API and Agent Usage

  • API keys are scoped to individual docks. Treat them like passwords. We store them as hashes and cannot recover a lost key — you'll need to rotate it.
  • Rate limits apply. Don't hammer the API. If you need higher throughput for a production workload, reach out and we will sort it out.
  • You may integrate the API with AI agents, automation tools, and third-party services. You remain responsible for what those integrations do.
  • Don't use the API for load testing against production without prior approval. We provide a sandbox environment for that.

Things You Cannot Do

This is not an exhaustive list, but it covers the obvious stuff:

  • Use the Platform for anything illegal in your jurisdiction
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion
  • Purchasing goods or services that violate card network rules
  • Attempting to circumvent spend rules, rate limits, or security controls
  • Reselling or white-labeling the service without a written agreement
  • Interfering with the Platform's infrastructure, reverse engineering our systems, or accessing other users' data
  • Creating accounts with false or misleading information

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of remaining funds, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

Availability and Downtime

We aim for high availability but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Things break, deploys happen, third-party services go down. We will do our best to communicate outages through our status page and to minimize disruption. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime, including failed or delayed transactions.

Intellectual Property

The Turing Dock name, logo, and Platform are our property (or licensed to us). You get a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose. Our SDK and MCP server are open-source under their respective licenses — those terms apply separately. Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over your transaction data, dock configurations, or agent integrations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turing Dock's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss. This applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise).

Indemnification

You agree to hold Turing Dock harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or transactions initiated by agents you have connected to your docks.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting support. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the Platform or other users. On termination, your docks will be frozen immediately. Unspent, undisputed funds will be returned per our refund process.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice through the dashboard or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
