The new way

How this works in the future of MRP.

Every operations call is a cash call at the same instant: issue this PO or wait, take this order or pass. Your MRP knows the build and nothing about the bank. Your accounting tool knows the bank and nothing about the floor. TuringDock holds both in one graph, so the answer to “can I afford this” is just there, the moment you need it.

How it works

Where your cash is headed, not where it's been

Set your cash on hand and TuringDock projects your running balance for six weeks from what you’re actually owed and what you owe: receivables by their terms, supplier invoices, and committed POs. The lowest point is called out, and the line turns red the week you’d dip below zero. QuickBooks shows you last month. This shows you next.

Cash and margin at the decision

Go to accept an order and it tells you the thing no accounting tool will at that moment: this one nets $8,200 at 33%, cash lands week five. Go to issue a PO and it says $14k out, your balance dips to minus $3k in week three. The answer shows up where you decide, not in a report you remember to run on a Sunday.

What you're owed and what you owe, one screen

Coming in and Going out, each totalled with the overdue amount called out. Tap Draft follow-up on any overdue line and Alan writes the chase from your prior thread, invoice PDF attached. Receiving a PO books the supplier invoice automatically, so what you owe is always real.

Alan watches the line

You don’t have to check the screen. When your projected balance is headed below zero, or a receivable goes past its terms, Alan flags it and offers to draft the nudge. The CFO instinct a ten-person shop can’t hire, running in the background.
